(THIRD POV)
"Maybe I should have agreed when he said he wanted the company back." Brenda thought as she read the file.
She looked up and laughed at herself. The time was moving slowly. She couldn't believe it was not time for lunch yet. She has important plans to carry out today and if she didn't leave soon, she won't get there soon enough to see her.
"What am I thinking? Did he even say he wanted the company back?" Brenda thought and looked back at the paper.
She counted how many they were and groaned. She needed to get out of there. The bulb in her office flickered twice and then a voice came into the intercom. Brenda looked at it and typed on her phone, "how can I help?"
The reply came back, "Belinda wants to see you."
"Let her in," Brenda replied and placed the pen she had down. She looked at the door and smiled when Belinda walked in with a huge smile on her face.
