The way Mrs. Kaden's eyebrows crease together makes me chuckle. I wave at her, "off you go, Ness." She smiles and leaves.
Ava turns to me, I raise my eyebrows at her, and she tells me, "I have a feeling the woman doesn't like me at all."
I release her hand and nod.
She starts rambling, "we were okay two days ago. Like, we talked, alot. And then out of nowhere, from yesterday, she looked at me as if all she wanted to do was to rip my limp, bone by bone then go out and dry my bones for the birds."
I chuckle at her vivid description.
"Hey, she is scaring me. Stop laughing." Ava whines.
I laugh, I didn't expect her to whine. She doesn't look like a whining person and this shows that she is truly scared of Mrs. Kaden.
"I am leaving." She tells me, and I chuckle again.
