(THIRD POV)
Mr. and Mrs. Keys laughed as they each remembered that day. Ava just smiled. She didn't know how everything went down that day, but she was hundred percent sure it was one of their favorite moments in the family.
Mrs. Kaden said, "they walked to the kitchen, got juice, and came to sit where we were."
Mr. Keys continued, "it was scary to watch."
Mrs. Keys laughed, her mind going to that day, she looked at Ava and said, "okay, so, we had no other option than to listen."
[FLASHBACK]
Brenda took a seat opposite her parents and pat the space next to her. Brandon slumped on it and gave their parents a look and then turned to his sister.
"So, first thing first. Wait a minute." Brenda said and removed a notebook she had from her pocket. Brandon's eyes went wide. They didn't discuss anything about writing in their notebooks.
