(THIRD POV)
Anyone sitting there would see that the family was having fun. Ava admired how they carried themselves. If anyone had sent her the pictures of how everyone was at the moment, she would have told them that they were truthfully a family.
Ava would have pointed at Pete and said he was Mr. Keys' son, Belinda and Brenda too. And then Petra would be Pete's wife. Mrs. Kaden on the other hand would be their aunt who has come to greet them.
How why are they living that way?
Back at home, her parents wouldn't even allow her to speak with the cleaner for god's sake. Her father would yell at her and tell her she was above everyone in their mansion. Her mother would nod along and tell Ava that she must act like a royal.
She pushed it to the back of her head. She told herself she needed to stay in the moment, she needed to learn one or two from the family she was sharing dinner.
