What is she talking about, what is the first step? What does my mother mean?
How is talking about Belinda the first step toward our family change? How does Belinda come in?
Looking at my mother, I want to ask her that question but I have no energy to, and the other reason is that I promised myself I am going to be there for Belinda once I get home so I might as well shrug it off.

What change is my mother talking about? Our family changed that day I realized that I let my brother go alone and take a piss without me, not that I would have gone with him, but that is when everything changed.
It is the past, yes, but that is what had changed our family and it made it to be what it is right now.
So when my mother talks about the need to have a change in our family, I have no idea what she means, the Keys family changed and if my mother wants the family to go back to the way it was when Brandon was here, she is dreaming.
