"I don't know why I shouted, I don't know why I did that. I am so sorry Belinda, are you okay?" I ask her.
"Am I fine? It is now you are remembering to ask me if I am fine, come on Brenda, just laugh, laugh all you want." She signs so fast and it is because she is angry at me. But I am not the one who told her to stand on the stool.
"Hey, I have said I am sorry, and I am not the one who told you to use that stool."
"How do you even know?"
"Because that is the only stool in the kitchen and no one uses it," I tell her and smile.
"Stop smiling, I have hurt my knee, Brenda," Belinda tells me. I nod and inform her, "it will heal."
"I gotta go disinfect this."
"What were you looking for?"
"I have no idea," Brenda says and shakes her head, she has forgotten about her coffee, and thank God it looks like she has also forgotten about Brandon's missing picture.
