Brenda was complicated, at least to the person who tried to know her. And that person had to come in the worst time of her life. But who was to say complicated people are hard to get?
"If you want something or rather someone, you will do everything to get it." A saying that people seem to tell anyone when they are about to give up.
This applied to Ava Max since she laid her eyes on Brenda, something inside her awoke, and as a nice lady that she is, she didn't try to push it back like most the people in her position would. As she stared at Brenda walking to her office, she swore to herself to make her fall in love with her.
For the few nights she has spent with her, she has seen a pattern.
