(THIRD POV)
After their jet landed, Ava got out of it as fast as possible to avoid Vi's mumbled apologies. She walked to where her family's driver was waiting for them and asked him to give her the keys. She needed to calm herself.
And what was the best way to do that other than driving?
Before she drove away, Vi knocked on the door and asked what she was doing. Ava said nothing. Vi motioned for her to roll down the window, and when she did, Vi asked, "you were not going to leave me, were you?"
Ava said nothing.
Vi mouthed at her, "I am sorry."
Ava rolled her eyes and pointed the car door at her. Vi pulled it and smiled as she entered the car. Vi watched their driver through the rear-view mirror staring at them, she turned at Ava who was looking straight ahead.
