Ezra Romano is dead.
When the news got to her family and friends they were devastated and basically broke apart. Her mother became an alcoholic while her father wasn't really home all that much. Probably also out drinking, her sister ended up moving in with a friend. Mason, her long time best friend since kindergarten, fell into the wrong crowd and ended up getting himself into the mafia.
Everything doesn't feel the same anymore to them without her. She would light up everyone's day just with a smile and now, its gone.
As for Ezra, the day she supposedly "died", she was actually picked up by two girls who conveniently was in the mafia. The Italian mafia. The girls saved her life and when she recovered, she was recruited immediately.
Four years later, Ezra is head of the mafia due to the dons death and Mason, well. He's also the head of the American mafia. When Italy and the American mafia end up going to war, their worlds collide once again but, it isn't their first time meeting.
She left. Mason will use that against her and it will only fuel his hunger for the upcoming war.
Between feelings coming back and wanting to kill the person you love and much more, a lot can happen. But the thing is, will they let the hate for leaving get between them? Or will love win in the end.

"Listen, I'm sorry I fucking left okay! It's not like I intended for it to happen. Stop using it against me, I didn't have a choice!" I said to Mason, he looked handsome as always. Personally, from when we were in high school he could have any girl he wanted, yet he never took the chance. And now, he still could. Mason glared at me and I could see the anger slowly rise to the surface.
I was really fucking scared.
If there was one thing that made me terrified was his anger because he was never angry. But, things change.
"Everyone always has a choice," He said in a deathly tone. "You made yours the day you never came back. We mourned for you, we would do everything to get you back. You're the reason your family broke apart," He stated. There was more.
Ouch.
"You're the reason our friends broke apart,"
Double ouch.
"And most of all you're the reason I can't keep myself straight and keep myself away from you." The last part he said so gently and softly, I thought I was hallucinating. "What the fu-"
I was instantly shut up by his lips connecting with mine.
A/N-
Hello everybody! I am so happy to say this is one of my first books I've published and these are a work in progress. I will try to get to them as soon as I can.
If there's words in here in Italian there will be a translate for those who don't know it. I take criticism, so please criticise. :)
