Liliana expected too much from Tristan, not just Tristan, she expects too much from people. She thinks everyone is as nice, kind, caring, and generous, but she thought wrong and expected way too much.
If Tristan was that angry, hurting her sexually was the worst he could do to her because right now as she sat behind her closed door with her upper body uncovered, her lips stinging with the scratch on her chest and the pain she felt on her nipples, she felt miserable, frazzled, depressed and shattered.
She was all alone, her parents left her without saying goodbye and now that she thought she had found a friend after he apologized, she was hurt emotionally and physically. He tore her heart apart and caused damage to it.
Tristan was the first man so close to her but he hurt her, he hurt her deep in her soul making her have the thought of men being just like he is, punishing the female so close to them when they are upset, but her Dad was different, so she shouldn't think that way about all men. Perhaps that was just the way Tristan was.
She regretted…regretted the fact that she let him in without further investigation on who he was and where he came from. Now it was too late, he had paid for a year, and she was stuck with him.
It hadn't even been a month, and she felt this crushed and broken because of him. How will she feel in the remaining months?
Wait… should she report him to the police that he harasses her sexually and in a cruel manner? No…no, the only thing to do right now was to avoid him and act like the stranger he wanted her to be.
Suddenly, her stomach growled, Liliana wiped her tears, enough crying for tonight. She didn't want her eyes to get swollen when she woke up in the morning. Taking a deep breath with a heavy heart, she exhaled and transferred to the kitchen. Liliana got ice and placed it on her nipples to ease the pain a little. Eventually, she made noodles and cursed herself for not thinking of cooking noodles before going out to face that jerk she called her neighbor. By 11:30 she went to bed and slept, though she was still hurting.
…
The next morning, Liliana got ready for work and headed to her car after locking her door. She saw Tristan but acted like he was invisible, with that, she was out of her building the next minute.
At H-H hospital by noon during lunch, Liliana stayed in her office when Raquel appeared through the door. When she sighted her friend, the lady immediately knew something was wrong with her, she requested an explanation and Liliana explained all that happened last night. Raquel lost it!
"Let's call the police…this is called abuse, how dare he?" She was in anger but Liliana tried to calm her down and she succeeded.
"No, don't call the police, I'll just have to stay away from him"
"No!" Raquel widened her eyes. She couldn't believe such men do exist. She had heard of men who harass and abuse ladies sexually but never had she come across one and now her friend was the one to face that trauma. Oh, that man was fucking dead! "Stop acting like a fool, Liliana. That man is a monster! He's sick in the head," she expressed her anger like Tristan was right in front of her. Her patience had been knocked down, and she needed to see that bastard and give him a piece of her mind.
How could he…? "You know what? I'm going with you back home, and you can't stop me," Raquel concluded.
Liliana knew she couldn't stop her friend. She only kept mute and sighed in frustration. Raquel then saw her lips.
"What's this?" She asked.
"Huh? What?"
"On your lip."
Liliana lowered her gaze and didn't reply, Raquel stared at her with that look that said, 'I know what to do'
Raquel waited for her friend to stop the car because she had already sighted Tristan. She climbed out of the car and went to get water in a bowl before confronting Tristan.
Tristan was on his rocking chair as usual when he saw a lady climbing up the stairs and then, the next moment, chilled water streamed over his head to his body and when he looked up to glare at her. Raquel gripped her fists with his hair and pulled him up to his feet.
"So you are the man mistreating my friend," she said, before releasing his hair by tossing it away.
Liliana watched from where she stood by the stairs. "Raquel…" She called to stop her, but Raquel felt irritated by her warm behavior.
"Liliana, this man doesn't deserve to be forgiven, just look at what he did to you," she pointed to her lips. She turned to Tristan, who was already upset and ready to kill her anytime soon. "Who do you think you are? Tristan?" She glared at him. "You hurt my friend and made her pass through pain. Don't you understand that she lost her parents and hasn't really recovered from that, and now you cause her so much pain… Don't you have a heart? Can't you see she's in pain? And then you add to her pain." Raquel said, confined not to yell.
"How will you feel if you are in her state? Liliana is such an innocent girl, she thinks of others before herself. She wants to see everyone happy even if it means she isn't happy, but you treat her with so much hatred. What did she do to you?" She asked again while Liliana wailed behind, being the background sounds.
Tristan wasn't listening, all he could think of was getting rid of the lady in front of him, she was too audacious for her own good.
"I wanted to call the police on you, but she pleaded not to, that's how nice she is… And I'm warning you," she pointed her index finger at him. "If you try hurting her again I'll make sure I send you to prison," she warned him.
Liliana felt it was enough, she went to her friend and dragged her away.
"Raquel, that's enough," she glanced at Tristan before taking her friend's hand, Raquel wasn't ready to leave yet because she still had a lot to say and harp about. With Liliana tugging her, she tried to pull out but was not successful. She, then, turned to Tristan and pointed her finger again. "I dare you to hurt her, and you'll see the type of woman I can be. I'll make sure you regret that you were born!" She had to exclaim because Liliana had already dragged her out of his doorstep. "Let me go!" She grunted at Liliana and took her hand back with great force. Before entering Liliana's house, both Tristan and Raquel exchanged glares saying unspoken words. 'Watch me' was Raquel's statement, while 'oh you are so dead' was Tristan's statement.
"You really didn't have to do that," she said, Liliana feared him a lot. She feared people normally.
Raquel, who was about to drink water, dropped the glass after hearing that statement. "What do you mean?" She was upset. "Are you mad, Liliana? That jerk abused you…" She sighed. "You just don't know how to fight for yourself," she said. "Because you are a coward," she finished.
Liliana narrowed her gaze to her before lowering it. Her friend was right, she was a coward. She couldn't fight for herself.
"You know what, let's just forget about it but if he misbehaves with you ever again, he'll rot in jail," she said.
They had a light conversation before leaving her house.
Tristan was still outside his house, ready to kill her brave friend who confronted him. Who did she think she was? A superhero?
He sat there confidently and comfortably. He was just waiting for the appropriate time to attack his landlady's friend.
Liliana glanced at him with hopes in her eyes, the truth was Liliana felt something for him even when he was so mean to her, she still wanted to be close to him and be friends with him, but that was only in her imagination and dreams.
She returned her gaze to her friend who was already standing by the road ride. Suddenly, Liliana had a bad feeling about something, she stared at her friend and then her gaze went up to the active electric wire connected to the poles, it was divided into two and was going to fall on her friend soon. Without thinking twice… "Raquel!" She cried out and ran to her before pulling her with so much force that Raquel had to fall on her.
The electric wire fell to the ground, making funny sounds. They both looked aghast while Tristan stood up on his feet. He found something strange about his sexy landlady, she had always been ruining his plan to kill. Could it be that she had that gift? No… He'd try again to see if she really can sense death coming.
When the both of them were up, dusting their dresses, and Liliana going to pick up her bag, Tristan made the tree by Raquel's side slowly fall on her but as he expected, Liliana was fast to save her friend from the falling tree.
Tristan sighed, he should just kill the both of them, but before he could do anything, he got a call from his father, and then he went into his house before vanishing. Killing them would be later.
"Dad," he called out when he arrived at his father's mansion. The old man who looked the same age as his son was the president of the Republic of Lyberia. He had been the president for more than a year now.
Calvin, who was staring through the window, turned around when he felt his son's presence. He went forward to a table and placed the glass cup that had a drink in it on the table before inserting his hands into his pocket.
"I have a job for you," he said simply.
Tristan already knew what his Dad wanted, so, he listened clearly. He stood behind his father with a stern look.
"I want you to get rid of Mr. William, he's trying to go against us," he said and then took the glass again, taking a sip before turning to his son. "He's no longer interested and doesn't want our help after all we've done and the power he's gotten from us, and now he wants to expose and ruin our plans," he explained.
"No problem, he'd get what he deserves…"
"That's my son, so how's living with that lady going? Is she fun? Or evil? Or our type?"
"You wouldn't want to know Dad, you wouldn't want to know."
Calvin nodded his head. "I know you, son, you won't do anything to disappoint me," he said before going forward to slap his shoulder. "Have you eaten?" He asked.
"Not hungry."
"If you say so, just wanted to tell you about William… I want feedbacks you hear?" he said, with his brows up causing lines on his forehead. "Gotta go," he said before leaving.
Tristan teleported back to his room before falling to his bed.
He had to do another hard job, William was the senator and the news of him being found dead will spread to the whole world and will also be investigated well, so he had to be careful.
Then his thoughts drifted to his father, Calvin's always ordering him to kill and get rid of people, they were supposed to do things together, but instead, he uses his son as an assistant instead of a partner. Tristan really didn't want to disappoint his father, so he had to kill Liliana, she was being a distraction. He knew what his Dad meant by 'you won't do anything to disappoint me' was technically related to this landlady. Killing her was the definite solution.
