Chapter 1 - 1. The battle of Corinth

Hurry feet and groping hearts of soldiers running across the expanse of the lands of the Corinth, it was a battle between the Corinthians and Spartans.

Thick blood was like that of rain flowing through the land, the Corinthians army was led by Azeroth the crown prince of Corinth his father Cyrus the king was old and stricken in age, having ruled the city for fifty years subdued kingdom, brought down kings, fought in the days of his youth Mightily and valiantly but now the wrought of enemies came upon him.

Troubled was he as the Spartan army continue to win the battle gradually all he worked for all these years was coming to an end and the era of the dark was near.

The Spartans clan were of the best fighters, sorcerers that had even existed. The king of the Spartans was Atarxerxes, he was a brave king, handsome gloaming, and giant with great power and vigor did he rule the coast of Greece having defeated most of the strongest Cities and making them his ally, his kingdom, and troops were so wide and strong, he also had war Beasts including a giant dragon and several war monsters.

The only people to be defeated were the Corinthians who did not surrender to his

commands.

The Corinthians also had great fighters and sorcerers, and magicians. The population of the Corinthians was great also over half of the coast of the whole of Greece, they had the key to Redemption which was a ring that has been passed from the generation of the Corinthian, this was the target of Artaxerxes the ruler of the Spartans, the ring possessed great magical powers and can be used for the unleashing of the dark era.

The king of the Spartans believe after he gets the ring he would be so powerful and rule over the world with his black magic. Atarxerxes was tenacious and he had made up his mind to get the ring to redemption no what it takes him, it was a do or die mission.

"Now the hour to rule over the earth has come"

Said Artaxerxes as he sat on a throne carried by slaves, the throne was as big as an erected building made of wood, and the throne which he sat on of pure gold beautiful and shining was the throne carried by slaves. He glanced through the city of Corinth.

On the other hand, was king Cyrus of the Corinthians in grief as he saw his legion of army die in the hands of the Spartan, Cyrus reached out to his first son Azeroth who fought his way back to the tents at the back of the warriors. Cyrus said to his son Azeroth:

"Take this ring."

"For the key must be protected, go to Valinor there you might be protected that the key must not be in the wrong hands."

The bearer of this key possesses great powers enough to conquer the earth, the key which had been protected by the royal lineage of the Corinthians must now be taken far away from Artaxerxes. Cyrus brought out a wooden box wrapped with linen, then he told his son:

"Take this ring and go far away to Valinor, for I shall face the battle and if the god's wishes I shall live." Azeroth refused to say:

"No father I would go nowhere without you my king."

knowing well that it was a death mission.

"Go that the key may be protected."

The young prince took the box and rode on a horse away towards the gates of Corinth.

At this time the army of Corinth had been almost destroyed for the strength of the Spartans was greater than theirs and the dragon poured out the fire on the men causing them to die in their thousands, the beast also pounce on the men like ants, the king also rushed towards one of the monsters in combat did he kill it.

He fought until he was stabbed by one of the demons of Sparta. To his back did he fall looking at his son ride away to the city, flashes of memories with his beautiful wife and son played through the king's mind, drops of water fell from his eyes and he died.

Artaxerxes saw Azeroth escape with a seal away towards the gates, he stood up and ordered that he should be chased.

"Seize him". he said, pointing at the crown prince.

Immediately, men pursued Azeroth even the dragon did fly in pursuit of the prince, seeing that he had been followed the crown prince increased his speed beating the horse as fast as he could. But the dragon was faster, closer did it get to catch the prince at once the dragon hit the prince, he fell off the horse stood up on his feet and began to run the dragon landed at his front preventing him from getting to the gates. Azeroth had been surrounded by the soldiers he fought as brave as he could one of the sorcerers cast a spell on him putting him to the ground. Then came the king Atarxerxes who rode on a horse to where they were.

"Where is the ring of redemption?" he asked.

His voice was thick and sound. He looked intensely at the prince who has already been tired from the fight, he had hidden the box in his armor, Azeroth said to him

"I have no key on me."

Atarxerxes pulled a sword pointing it at the prince and asked again where the ring was, Azeroth gave no positive answer. He stabbed Azeroth and he fell, the king saw a box from his amour and took it out. He smiled as he unwrapped the box which has been covered with a piece of cloth. Behold it was the ring to redemption. He laughed as hard as he could saying

"I am the Lord of the earth, the ring is now mine, and now is the time of my glory", his quest for power had just begun and the unleashing of the dark of era just began.
