Just before they left the premise, Maria turned her eyes to the gate once again, looking for that particular guy but found his spot empty. With wondering thought, she frowned, recalling into seeing that same guy in the canteen a while ago. He even sat near their table, not even touching the food on his tray and just sitting there. She thought of imagining having his eyes trained on her the whole time but she was too occupied with her conversation with her friends to check her suspicion.
