Once we got to the camp
We saw the camp, our minds at peace and our bodies ready for war. We simply walked out of the shadows and straight towards the front gate, the guards tried to shoot arrows at us, but we dodged them with ease. I drew my sword and channeled my darkness into it, revealing a black flame.
"With this flame, I mark the beginning of the war." I said, my voice colem and icy.
I thrust the blade into the gate and watched the wooden gate burn, which was almost instantaneous.
"Remember the plan, if you're injured, meet at the crescent moon rock." I said as I raced off.
"Yes sir!" Marcus barked.
I began to rapidly cause fires to anything that would light, the walls of the camp, the food houses, the weapon storage and the soldiers quarters. Before long I had an army chasing after me, the camp was a huge ball of orange and black flames. I turned to face the army, the smoke was so thick I couldn't see anything. I calmed my rapid breathing and began to attack,
"Dark Style: Dark Clones…" I said, my voice icy.
I formed a circle of clones around me, I could only see their backs.
"Find and slaughter every enemy you can." I spoke.
They raced off into the smoke and fire, their blank expressions facing forwards.
"Dark Style: Dark Swords.." I said, my voice icy.
I could feel at least ten swords forming around me, awaiting my orders. I began to hear the screams of the surprised enemies as they were cut down by my clones, I could feel one enemy constantly circling me. I knew who it was, it was him.
"Hellman.. I know you're there." I said, my voice like a suppressed bullet.
"The prince of Darkness.. Indeed it is me." He said, his voice the same smug elegance as I remember.
"I do not know why you're here, but now isn't the time for us to fight. The difference in our power levels is too great." He said.
"I agree, When I come back I will spill your blood across this earth!" I barked.
He grew a cruel smile across his face, "Believe me, that's just what I want." He replied.
That pissed me off, he dared smile at me? I channeled all of my power into my blade, I intended to use my ultimate move.
"Dark Style: Secret Move: Death Slice!!" I screamed.
A pure white flame burst from my sword as I raised it over my head, as I swung it down I was drowning in emotions. I wasn't paying total attention to his movements, when my blade struck I only managed to slice off his left hand. I thought i might have done some damage but it didn't even faze him, he simply smiled and said,
"Foolish boy.. You believe i cannot fight with one hand, a fighter is born when his mind and body are in its correct form. If in its correct form a fighter becomes emotions, and thus can be manifested.." He said, his voice strained.
He held up his hands together, and in a shimmer of light his hand regenerated like normal. I was shocked and exhausted, my body couldn't fight him now that I had used my secret move. It was too late, I had lost. If i didn't leave now i was sure to be killed.
I had to alreart Marcus so i screamed as loud as i could,
"RETREAT!"
The camp was in ashes around me and Marcus as we raced back to the moon rock.
"Do you think we did enough?" He asked.
"Yeah, at least we've forced them to move locations, seeing as we know where their base is now." I said.
"Hopefully we've bought enough time.." Marcus replied.
"Once we get back to camp I want to talk to the whole squad.. We start training tomorrow." I said, my voice weak from exhaustion.
"Right, I'll gather everyone." He replied
We ran in silence from then on, we passed the moon rock and onto the camp. Once we got in, Marcus gathered the squad and we went into the arena.
I stood apart from everyone else, in front of me stood my whole squad. I looked down the line from left to right, from Brandon, Ashley, David, Emma and Marcus.
"I'm not going to sugarcoat this, starting tomorrow we train in each of our strengths. And it will be hard, you will want to quit, but let me tell you something.. As your captain I refuse to let any of us quit. We're growing stronger for the people in this camp and the family we have outside the camp, if we do not do this no one will. But as your captain, the mission's success is my top priority, along with your safety. As your captain, and your friend I will not let ANY of you die, and I will prove that to you." I said, my voice ringing out over the silent arena.
"Captain, we know that already." David said, his voice a cold calm.
"We already know this mission is going to be hard, so we have to train even harder. We already know that you're going to do everything in your power to protect each and every one of us, and we'll do the same for you." David finished.
"If you know that already, why follow me?" I asked.
"You're a strong person.." Emma said, her voice weak.
"Your physically powerful, and your combat abilities are things to behold." Brandon said.
"You're one of the chosen ones to bring peace, I can feel it." David replied.
"You're one of the few people I trust to hold me back if I get too wild." Marcus said, his voice confident.
"You're the only person who is strong enough to stand up and fight for us… so well fight beside you…" Ashley said, her voice shy.
"Thank you.. All of you, I'll do everything in my power to live up to those high expectations." I replied, my voice weak with emotions.
I whipped my eyes, and spoke again.
"Go get some rest, tomorrow we start training." I said, my eyes watery.
"Yes sir!" They all spoke in unison.
