Instead of going straight into Hunter's place, I went to get some groceries for our dinner. I should be grateful enough to cook for him. It took me not long to finish my shopping and went to hail another cab towards the royal building.
When I stopped at the main entrance of the building, the guards there recognized me and nodded in my direction. I smiled to them, even though I was clearly out of place in there. I got in the private elevator and reached the top floor for few seconds.
I didn't have to ring the bell and just went on straight inside. I planned to get into the kitchen to put away the groceries. However, I stopped on the living room when I saw Hunter's jacket on the floor along with his belt and the shirt he wore just this morning.
