Hunter's POV (Continuation...)
As I went deeper into the woods, the ground became moist since I entered the area where the sun rays seldom hit the ground. I lifted my snout in the air and let in a good amount of air inside my chest.
The air had a large hint of a musky smell of mosses surrounding every tree trunk in there. Aside from the wild beasts in their natural habitats, there was nothing unusual there. This search might turn to be fruitless again like the other two days that I'd been going around.
I huffed in disgruntlement and turned away from there. I glanced sideways, studying the whole surrounding. I already cleared most of the areas in the woodlands except for the location we were searching for today.
