Chapter 30:
As Hunter returned in hunting towards the warehouse in Jidsan, his phone rang with chief as the caller.
"I received a call from Pristine. She's with the rest of the unaccounted missing women." The chief said. "It'll take us three minutes to get there and they're quite surrounded with rogue wolves now."
"Tell me, is she with Layla right now?" Hunter asked and the chief took his time before answering.
"Yes." The chief said, wondering why Hunter was particularly asking for that omega in whom he still had no recollection with.
"They're all fine but you need to get there fast."
The chief didn't need to tell him when he started to sprint in one direction, as if racing with the winds or easing the anxiety on his chest.
Layla could fight. He gave her that. But his chest won't stay still for feeling the knocking pain of every beats of his heart.
