Hunter's POV ( Continuation…)
I wasn't thinking straight when I left the Tazzen campus ground and sprinted towards the forest with one location in my mind. The circlet of Genus where the water that sprang up there could heal anything. I refuse to let her go. No one can make me do so.
It wasn't that long before I reached the body of water, placing Layla down to the coldness there. Having my hand dipped in the water, I chanted a spell which made the water glowed afterwards.
I called out for Shihyaha. The elf in the dungeon didn't take to appear before me.
"Lord Hakyi-," Shihyaha was frozen as her eyes went to Layla.
"Help." Was the only thing I could utter in desperation. "She stopped breathing. Help me."
The elf crouched down to the water and touched Layla on her forehead and her expression didn't look promising at all. The only thing that made me feel was dread and the sense of downright loss.
