Layla's POV
I almost drop my spoon and fork upon his declaration. I blinked at him, waiting until he'd declared it to be a joke. Though I know pretty well that Hunter wasn't really fond of joking. He was more inclined into teasing me but not really into silly things.
"You're kidding, right?" I asked and let out a fake laugh until he would join me. To my dismay, he suited himself into gazing at me in raised brows.
"You know that I don't bluff, pumpkin." He said. "What can you say? It's pretty normal these days. Living together in one place."
I get that to be normal now but are we on that level now? I never would have thought that it will be Hunter who would propose about the idea first. In my countless experience with my friends, mostly the girls were the first to ask their boyfriends or mates to live together.
