Chapter 3 - The Six

"Fine then. I will join your little group. Please take care of me."

Julia decided to join their group in the end. After all, the impossible task given to them was concerning the Primordial Beings. Its importance was far more than just obeying her royal father and being a good child. If something was to go wrong because of her decision, then even her royal father might not be able to afford the price.

So what if her royal father was to go insane in search of her? If he just sent his people to go after them, then chances were he wouldn't be able to even find their traces. Looking at the five other kids before her now, she was certain that with their strength, even if they were caught, those men of her father might not even be able to drag them on back to the kingdom. If her royal father wanted to bring her back, he might need to send one of his most loyal subordinates or even the commanders. He might need to go by himself just to bring her back, which was highly impossible given his status.

With all of those in mind, Julia took the risk and gambled her life with those people around her. Although it seemed like a stupid choice in the face of her father and the other people in the kingdom, she felt that this was the best decision she had ever made in her life.

"That's more like it." Samantha suddenly spoke as a slight smile appeared on her lips. She nodded in satisfaction. After all, it would be boring if this girl didn't join their group. Having her as a rival would always be best. That was why she preferred to have her in their group.

Dugo, on the other hand, smiled, seeing that Julia had decided to join in. He didn't say anything though. Instead, he shifted his gaze at Sael on his left side as he asked, "You'll join too, right?"

"Is there even a need to ask," Sael replied lazily. He closed his eyes, his arms remained crossed. Although he hated being with those three girls around him, he didn't have any other choices, since his friend, Dugo, was there. As helpless as he was, he could only agree.

"Since that's the case, from now on, we will be sworn brothers and sisters. I, Dugo, swear in my heart that even in life or death, never will I betray all of you." Dugo's voice carried a heavy tone. His eyes were sharp and no lies could be seen in them.

Just like that, the other five also started swearing in the depth of their hearts that never in their lives would they betray each other. They would become each other's pillar that they could rely on in times of crisis. If one of them was in peril, the others would go and give their utmost help. Simply put, the problem of one was also the problem of everyone. Not even death itself could break their bond now.

Unbeknownst to them, or even to all the people in the entire world, a group that would cause a great change in the world was created at that moment. Something that would even cause great agitation for the Primordial Beings.

"From now on, we will be called..." Dugo purposely paused his words as he swept his gaze at the people around him. He smiled, seeing that everyone wore their favorite expressions. In any case, he used that moment of pause to think of what name he would suggest for the little group they created. After all, their group shouldn't be nameless, right? Thinking this way, Dugo decided to name it, "The Six."

In the blink of an eye, a few days soon passed since Dugo and the others joined together to form a little group and be sworn brothers and sisters. However, those days weren't as peaceful as they thought to be. Because the very next day they created the little group, they immediately caused an uproar in the Kalayaan village.

Dugo and the others, who were excited to try out the strength of the "symbols" they obtained from the Spatial Medal Of Rebirth, immediately went to the surrounding woods to hunt for monsters shortly after they created their group.

But who would have thought that they would get so fired up that they almost annihilated all the monster beasts surrounding the Kalayaan village? They never thought that the power of the symbols would be this crazy as they could display such astonishing strengths. As such, they tried to see the limitations of their strength.

And the result? It naturally caused an uproar in the Kalayaan village the very next day. This left the six of them with no choice but to leave the village to avoid future troubles. Who knew if the people in the village would get so riled up and hunt them down for causing such a ruckus on the borders of the village? The six of them knew full well that not only had they harmed the monster beasts, even the trees and the geographical area were no exception. They were so messed up that the place was as though it had turned into a battlefield.

And thus, in the past few days after they left, there wasn't a time that the emergence of their little group wasn't talked about. There would even be times when people would fight and sometimes cause commotions. Some people were supporting them by clearing the monster beasts in the area. However, others were against them, saying every negative thing they could think of just to oppose them. They even thought of forming a huge group to hunt those "six monstrous kids" for destroying the eco-system around them. If it weren't for them, then they wouldn't have any trouble hunting some monsters to make a living. But now, finding even a tiny rabbit was like finding a needle in a haystack. It became far more difficult!

So, how could they forgive those six kids who did all of this?! Even if they possessed exaggerated powers, as the rumors claimed to be, with their numbers, they believed that they could exterminate those six kids or force them to give them compensation. Even if they suffered a heavy loss, out of fury, they were determined to hunt those six trouble makers and make them pay.

Unfortunately for them, even after a few days, they didn't find even a trace of them. They disappeared in the thin air as though they didn't even exist in the first place. In the end, they could only gnash their teeth, cursing at the six trouble makers to their hearts' content.
