"It was you who slept with me that night, right?" Norman looked at Daisy and asked.
"That night? We slept together so many nights. Which night are you talking about?" Daisy knew the answer more or less, but she pretended not to understand, hoping she could get away with it.
"The night at Anita's party." Norman enunciated each word. "It was also the night I slept with you for the first time. Don't you remember? When I saw this necklace, I remembered everything. Norman looked very excited. He remembered that he was inexplicably ostracized and ridiculed because of Sophia, and now he realized it was all for something he didn't do. He felt inexplicably angry.
