Like that day, when Sophia stood against the light, Phillips saw that her eyes had not changed and were as graceful as ever. Phillips had always known that Sophia was beautiful, but today she looked even more beautiful, especially with the dimples on her cheeks, which made her look cute.
Phillips couldn't help but stand up. He felt as if the world stopped spinning and there was just him and Sophia. Phillips's Adam apple bobbed, and he opened his mouth to say something, but no words came. He just stared at her and couldn't look away.
It was a relief to Sophia to be on campus, considering she hadn't been back in a month. Without the high-intensity work at NRTE, she thought the freedom and taste of youth in campus were more memorable than being in the working world.
The campus was full of young couples holding hands and a few others arguing, something Sophia found desirable. Absence makes the heart grow fonder indeed.
