"Why are you back at this time?" Sophia's brother, David, was in his pajamas. He went downstairs to open the door for Sophia.
"Didn't you tell me to pick you up tomorrow?"
Sophia knew that if she asked David to come down, he would interrogate her. However, she didn't plan to go home, so she didn't have the key.
After a day of ups and downs, she didn't want to stay at her rented place alone. She wanted to go home.
"Brother, I'm tired. Let's talk about it tomorrow."
Sophia told David that she only wanted to go home, wash up, rest, and forget about everything else.
"If you're tired, go and rest." David looked at his sister's condition. He felt that she was not in great shape and needed to rest.
"Okay. David, I'll go to my room first."
