After dinner, Carl saw Sophia happily going to her room to pack up her things. In confusion, he asked Laura, "Just because he knows Sophia, do you trust her to work so far away?"
Laura looked at Carl with an expression that said, 'you don't understand'. "If you want what's best for Sophia, don't stop her."
Carl frowned. With the information he had now, stopping Sophia from working on Wall Street was good for her.
He believed that Laura knew this, too, because Laura's attitude was the same as his at the beginning. Both disagreed with Sophia working so far away.
There must be other reasons for the sudden change of mind.
"Is it related to the CEO? That young man called Sebastian?"
Laura carefully looked at her daughter's room door and mysteriously pulled Carl back to their bedroom.
She closed the door and finally explained to the puzzled Carl, "Our daughter likes someone, and that person is the Sebastian you are talking about."
