[Edward's P.O.V.]
I spent three hours in the study. But the first two and a half hours were fruitless. All the books looked normal. Just when I had given up and started paying attention to other details, I noticed the huge painting in front of me and discovered that it was actually a movable door.
Once I went through it, I waited for my eyes to adjust to the darkness and soon realized that I had entered a simply decorated room - there was only a desk, a chair, and an old desk lamp.
I opened the drawer of the desk and inside lay something that looked like a diary. When I opened it, I could feel the sound of my heart beating violently.
