Leonard Ethan stepped out of The Chamber, holding the Mithril-made Plate in his hand. However, unlike before, the center of the plate now bore a blood red gem that looked like coagulated blood.
Apart from that, the entire plate, faintly emitting a silvery-blue glow, lit up with strange patterns that resembled a wireless mobile phone charger equipped with LED lights.
But in reality, this was not a manifestation of electricity or any form of energy known to modern humans; it was the outward release of Extraordinary Power. However, this release was depleting the power of the freshly made magic gem embedded upon it.
This meant that once the gem ran out of power, the Mithril-made Metal Plate would fall back into permanent quietude, or even worse.
