The most conspicuous abnormality was the professionalism of the two people in action; to any observer, it did not align with the proficiency typically exhibited by the Thule Society's elite.
"You're right, the current situation does indeed seem a bit abnormal," Joan, awakened by the commotion caused by Leonard, came over and responded after listening to his narration.
"We all know this is supposed to be a very important operation by the Thule Society. Thus, they should be acting with all their might, but the conditions here are evidently not as they should be."
