It was the evening after receiving the Turkish officials that Leonard and Joan received an invitation from Professor Liu to go to the Chinese Archaeological Team's base and participate in their celebration ceremony.
They certainly had reason to celebrate, for although they were not the discoverers of Troy, they could be considered, like Leonard, the discoverers of one of the most important treasures. Their names would be recorded in the history of archaeology.
"Thank you so much, Mr. Ethan. You have been a great help to us." As soon as he entered the movable prefabricated house where the Chinese Archaeological Team was located, Professor Liu greeted them with a beaming smile.
"It's nothing. I just gave you a hand casually. The achievement is inseparable from your own efforts," Leonard said with a gentle smile. "By the way, I just smelled something delicious. Is the banquet serving Chinese food today?"
