With a whole day of excavation, layer after layer of debris that originally covered the foundation was dug out, and more and more structural remnants and small items from the same era that should belong to this building itself appeared in the things excavated from the big pit below.
"These things shouldn't be worth much, right?" Prince Aziz whispered to Leonard Ethan, looking at the small piece that he had just dug out with only one or two cuneiform characters on it.
"At least we can't judge now." Leonard shook his head slightly and carefully put the shard into the box, "Maybe the pieces you find now are the key words to piece together an important document."
"I think - the chances of that are probably slim." Prince Aziz said somewhat embarrassedly, as a young man only a few years older than Leonard, he seemed excited to find something valuable.
