Leonard and the others prepared a tent that was the same as those used by the German Alpine Mountain Troops. Among them, eight had been soldiers in the French Foreign Legion, so they were quite good at handling these things.
Quickly, they cleared a large open space and, using an aluminum alloy frame and high-molecular-weight textiles, erected three tents capable of accommodating four people each.
Of course, Leonard and Joan were not very good at setting up tents, so they simply took containers to fetch ice from the frozen brook to boil water, then used the canned food and packaged meals to cook dinner.
After the tents were set up, Fairmont and the White Knight Squad members laid down damp-proof mats and specialized blankets on the tent floors, then assisted Leonard and the others with other tasks.
