It took about ten minutes for Leonard and others to successfully report to Nelson all the content on the logbook related to the situation on Beach Island.
"I can't thank you enough, you have done me a great favor." Nelson's grateful voice came through the maritime satellite phone.
He is still searching for targets along the eastern coast of Beach Island. He has cleared two suspicious locations before, but they were all unrelated to the scientific expedition team and were just traces left by the Canadian Official Arctic Patrol.
With the information provided by Leonard and others, he can now rule out the vast majority of suspicious areas, greatly reducing the original planned workload and pointing him in the right direction.
