"There should be a water source behind this collapse point." After briefly inspecting the surrounding traces, Leonard said, "Moreover, judging from the stones at the bottom of the cave, this place can produce hundreds of tons of water every day."
"A spring that can produce hundreds of tons of water every day in such a place is indeed a blessing from the gods." Neil's Old Madam also looked at the traces on the ground and said.
"But it seems that some geologic change has occurred within this mountain, cutting off the water vein, which is why the entire valley has become so completely desolate."
Apparently, the geological changes in the local area were not just limited to the little bit seen in the cave. The rubble may block the water flow, so the drying up of the water source was highly likely related to the internal changes of the mountain.
When Neil's Old Madam's people cleared the debris from the corridor, a huge hall with traces of water flow appeared before them.
