Daniel's letter was a great help to Leonard, but the next day Pierce's call was not. Early the next morning, just after finishing breakfast, Leonard received a call from Pierce.
"Why are you calling me so early? Is something wrong?" After looking at the phone number, Leonard spoke lazily.
"I remember you recently hired a team to hunt for modern treasures in Poland. Did you dig up the WWII German Golden Train?"
While Leonard had gone to the Philippines earlier, Pierce had also taken a team to Poland in search of treasures. Thanks to Leonard's investment in his shop, Pierce could finally afford to be proactive on this trip.
The reason for choosing Poland was that although the country required handing over 90% of discovered relics, it allowed finders to keep some items with a less significant history, instead of forcing them to trade them for money.
