The reason Leonard Ethan was attracted to the seemingly tattered sketchbook was simple: it was one of the few auction items with a starting price in four digits.

The reason for the low valuation, apart from the absence of a signature on these paintings, was that the entire book not only looked worn and tattered, but the styles of the paintings inside did not seem to come from the same person, giving the impression of a discarded practice book.

"Ah, I finally found you." As Leonard was looking at the book in the cabinet, a familiar middle-aged male voice came from behind. Leonard turned around and saw that it was Bruce standing there.

"It's a pleasure to see you, Mr. Bruce." Leonard shook hands with him and asked, "Did you invite me here for a particular reason?"

"I heard that there would be an ancient Egyptian painted coffin from a significant figure auctioned off at this event, so I want to buy it," Bruce answered directly when Leonard asked.
