With a deep and melodious horn, the fishing boat slowly left the pier and headed east along a narrow channel towards the Atlantic, with St. John's gradually disappearing behind Leonard and his friends.

The city had no high-rises, only small buildings no more than four floors high. The facades of these buildings were colorful, as if they had just been painted by a group of children.

According to the taxi driver who drove them from the airport to the pier, the city's buildings were deliberately painted in bright colors so that fishermen could see the location of their hometown from afar when returning home.

Inside the busy bridge, Captain Lubson picked up the walkie-talkie and passed instructions to each position on the ship. From the smooth sailing of the ship, it was evident that the crew members were experienced.

After seeing Leonard and Fairmont enter the bridge, Captain Lubson greeted them warmly and casually handed each of them a telescope.
