It took half an hour to thoroughly clean the map. It was at this time that they discovered that the two lead plates were two parts of a map.
Apparently, someone had drawn a map on a sheet of lead foil, cut it in half, and then glued the patterned half together, using it as the base of the box.
The big problem now, though, is that while they can see the target marked by the red dot on the map, and the surroundings of the target, they have no idea where this place is.
"The only thing we can be sure of is that this lead map was indeed left by the Freemasons, because we can see their special symbol in the corners of the map," said Pierce, pointing to the lower right corner of the lead plate.
In the lower right corner of the map, a compass and ruler pattern appeared. In terms of craftsmanship, it was probably stamped on by hand using a steel stamp.
