Chapter 935 - 935 Angola

Angola is located in the southwestern part of Africa, bordering Congo (Brazzaville) and Congo (Kinshasa) to the north, Zambia to the east, Namibia to the south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. Most of the northern region has a tropical grassland climate, the southern part a subtropical climate, and the high-altitude areas a temperate climate.

The country is mainly composed of plains, hills, and plateaus. The total area is 1,246,700 square kilometers, with a coastline 1,650 kilometers long, and the capital is Luanda.

Historically, the establishment of this country is inextricably linked to the Portuguese. In 1482, Portuguese colonists first arrived by ship fleet, established Luanda in 1576, which marks the beginning of modern Angola.

Between 1884 and 1885, Angola was designated as a Portuguese colony. In 1951, it changed its status to an "overseas province" of Portugal, ruled by a governor.
