Within five minutes of entering the village, Leonard and others noticed something odd. At least a normal village, especially one that is almost abandoned, theoretically shouldn't have so many CCTV cameras.
Although they had once suspected whether these were facilities installed by the freight yard, the layout made this unlikely. If the freight yard needed to install surveillance, it would only need to monitor a few roads leading to the yard.
The most critical point was that these cameras were discreetly installed, not like those typically set up in public places. They appeared to be privately-installed equipment.
Thanks to superior vision and the ravens they carried, Leonard and others quickly understood the security level of this small town.
It's fair to say the defense of this little town was quite strong. They equipped nearly a thousand square meters near the street with 14 cameras, which covered almost every corner.
