The opened camphor wood box was filled with various cloth strips and waste paper, and after reaching in, Leonard, and others took out one metal container after another.
It took the two of them about ten minutes to clean out all the stuff inside, and then they put it in a big pile on the attic floor.
Items included six candlesticks, four beer mugs, two plates, one teapot, four teacups, two boxes, one frame, seven big and small cans, and six palm-sized animal statues.
"These should be tin products." After picking up a cup and shaking it in his hand, Leonard quickly figured out some basic information about the items. "And they seem to be products from the British Channel Colonies about eighty or ninety years ago."
Leonard was so sure about it because he used an "Identification (N)" Card on the largest plate. The card showed that the plate was made in Kuala Lumpur, which was then part of the British Channel Colonies, in 1917.
