In order to find the places where secrets might be hidden, Leonard and others checked all the contents again. Sure enough, under a new round of potentially destructive inspections, they found a signature on the inner side of the balance wheel of that pocket watch.
Obviously, this signature was not added when the watch was made, but was engraved by a later owner for some reason.
"Wilhelm Mohnke, who is this person?" Looking at the very unfamiliar name translated as William Monk, Joan frowned.
"I'm not sure. After all, I'm not a professional World War II researcher, so I don't know much about this area." Leonard shook his head as he looked at the name because it didn't exist in his memory.
"The only thing we can confirm is that this person might also be a former owner of the things in those interlayers, probably a German during World War II."
