Before Leonard and his companions, the passageway had obviously been reinforced with cement. However, due to the previous explosion, numerous cracks had appeared in the already weak cement layer, and the rocks above it seemed to be on the verge of collapse.
Since the soil outside had been excavated, sunlight was just right to shine through the damaged passageway and illuminate the inside. Relying on this sunlight, Leonard and his companions discovered a door at the head of the passageway.
Unlike the heavy armored doors they had imagined, this door seemed to be an ordinary iron one, which did not look like the gate of an important warehouse at all.
Soon, a security personnel responsible for handling explosives put on protective gear and walked towards the iron door, his hand holding an observation system with an optical fiber.
