Fairmont's newly discovered white stone was covered in dirt, looking dull and unremarkable. If not for these items being stacked at the bottom of the pit, no one might have noticed them.
"I'm not sure why these stones were placed here." Fairmont pointed to the pit with his empty hand, "But I can confirm they were indeed thrown into the pit and buried with those daily necessities."
The reason for this judgment was simple; they found traces of textiles decomposing in the soil next to these stones and some metal parts that clearly came from boxes or bags.
That is to say, these items were originally packed inside some sort of bag, but after being buried in the soil for so long, the original bag rotted away, and the inner contents spilled out.
