After checking all the boxes thoroughly, Leonard Ethan was almost certain that these items were most likely from churches in France during World War II, which were urgently evacuated, but it is unknown why they were not returned after the war.
"Perhaps those responsible for relocating these items were unfortunately killed," said Leonard Ethan after examining the last box full of gold and silver items. "You know how fragile life was during the war."
