The discovery of ship parts greatly boosted everyone's morale, and as they searched the area, more items appeared before them, including but not limited to ship nails, wooden boards, and some metal fasteners from the ship.
"Notice that these items are all distributed along the coast of this bay, which means at least one of the two ships sank here." Leonard Ethan pointed with a pen to the markings on the map, finally drawing a circle around one bay.
Having marked the locations of the found items on the map, almost everyone could see that these items were distributed near a bay, meaning the probability of the ship being in the bay was highest.
"Yes, but it might take three days to search this entire bay," Mr. Scott nodded and said. "Because a sonar boat can't move too fast."
So, for the next three days, everyone stayed on the ship watching the sonar display, searching for traces of sunken ships on the seabed.
