After the helicopter left with all that stuff, the archaeologists who had arrived by helicopter were divided into two groups. One chose to return to the village and then prepare to travel to Stockholm to study these things.
The other group stayed and expanded their search based on the clues Leonard and his team had provided earlier, to see if they could find other valuable things.
These matters had little to do with Leonard. His next task was to go to Stockholm to deal with the bonus issue from this treasure hunt.
Swedish law regarding buried treasures is similar to many European countries - the discovered items belong to the finder, but historically valuable items will be forcibly purchased by the state.
However, the purchase price is not too low. Although it's certainly lower than auction prices, it's still considered reasonable.
