"Looks like it's almost Christmas." When they came out of Heathrow Airport, the Christmas decorations by the roadside made Leonard Ethan realize that it was almost Christmas time.
After all, he had spent too much time in the Sinai Peninsula, and his attention during the trip to France was mainly focused on Joan, so much so that he lost track of the days.
"That's right, there's only one week left until Christmas." Joan nodded. "So now we should prepare for Christmas, like purchasing ingredients for the Christmas banquet."
"Actually, nowadays many people choose to hold Christmas banquets in restaurants," Leonard Ethan said quietly, "since everyone is so busy and doesn't have much time to cook Christmas dinner at home."
"It seems that not everything in this era is better than in the past." Joan shrugged her shoulders and concluded, "but anyway, it's much better than the past when people didn't have enough to eat."
