"I think it's mainly because not many cultural relics have been discovered in Newfoundland and Labrador Province before. So, the local departments are not well-prepared in this regard," said Captain Lubson with a shrug.
"More importantly, the government departments here strictly follow the eight-hour work system, except for a few emergency departments. So even if the ruins are important, they won't work overtime."
"But I must say, our luck is not bad, considering tomorrow is a workday. Otherwise, they would really take a break until the workday to come here," he added.
"Well, I hope they can arrive on time tomorrow at noon." Leonard had to suppress the urge to roll his eyes while talking to Captain Lubson, as he had nothing nice to say about the efficiency of the local staff.
Fortunately, although these people strictly follow their holiday routines, they don't cause problems like tardiness or leaving early when it comes to work.
