The Golden Dawn was actually an organization similar to a mutual aid society; although it had a hierarchy, this hierarchy was only in terms of the exchange of knowledge, with no clear superior or inferior relationships.
Because of this equality, situations like the one before required an equal trade, and even warranted some extra compensation.
This also created the greatest source of unity for what seemed like a loose organization: everyone firmly believed that each person within the organization was equal and that this place was where reason could prevail.
However, to tell the truth, such situations were very rare, because the world's detection level of extraordinary powers was extremely poor, relying only on the most primitive resonance of extraordinary powers, making it basically impossible to identify disabled extraordinary items.
