"Have you had dinner yet?" Leonard Ethan asked as he watched Joan busily preparing a meal in the kitchen, realizing that the amount of food she was preparing was significantly more than he had anticipated.
"Not yet, I've been waiting for you," Joan replied with a smile as she turned toward Leonard Ethan before adding, "After all, it's not even 8 o'clock, so I figured waiting for you a bit wouldn't be a problem—by the way, how did your experiment go?"
"The results were only mediocre," Leonard Ethan replied, somewhat helplessly spreading his hands. "As you know, sometimes understanding the theory and being able to actually do it are two entirely different things, which is the problem I'm currently facing."
"Although I now know what to do next, I might have to wait a while before I can create the thing I want."
