"Oh. I had no idea about it." He blatantly said, and laid back on the chair beside him.
"What do you mean by that? Beowulf is trying to kill his brother by setting out a trap and you're proving ignorant? We need to stop Alex from going further. He's only going to get himself killed. Did you not see the sword that was planted in his stomach?" She asked, slightly worried about her grandson's welfare.
"Look Mira? Even if we try to stop Alex do you think he'll listen to us? Do you think he'll believe us? Sometimes I feel like you're human. He had already chosen the path to risk his life for his woman. Let's not question that and only hopes he's okay." Wilson said with a straight face.
"Still, it leaves me worried. He cares for his wife dearly and it's leaving him hurt."
"Mira, we shouldn't talk more on this. His men are always behind him. They would not allow harm befall their prince." Wilson explained and Mira nodded with a shaky breathe.
....
Far away from the Wilson's mansion. Alexander's men stood in the middle of a dark place, while looking around the area to take extra measures.
"Seems the darkness in here has only increased." He muttered and then added. "Not that it was even free from darkness in the first place. No day and night." He kept mumbling until Amadeus violently nudged him on the stomach.
"Shut up and let's go to the Wilson's mansion. We might be able to find him there." Amadeus said.
"I'm sure you know not everyone has those special abilities like you do. It would be best if we leap our way forward. That way, we'll take extra precautionary measures in this fucking illusion. " Lucas suggested and they nodded in agreement.
Not longer after, they started to leap their way forward as it was the easiest way to stay careful and take a closer watch for any anomalies.
"That place looks quite eerie....but then everything in this place looks eerie." Robert said.
"Watch your mouth. You might provoked some demons in here. I'm sure we don't want to lose you now, do we?" Said Amadeus as they leaped further.
The impact of the wind was strong because if the speed but they'll do anything for their prince. This was nothing compared to what was to come.
The leaped further and reached the rooftop of a certain building. It was quiet and they could only crease their brows further. Why was this place quiet when it was supposed to be noisy.
Before the could ponder more on it, they felt like they were been gently brought down from the rooftop. A hole was created and they could clearly see the people from above.
They finally got down from what seemed like an elevator. But on the rooftop? Isn't that a little absurd? They thought to themselves.
Just when they were about to take a step closer to check what was happening, swarms of ladies appeared behind and in front of them. They were quite taken aback because it was sudden and they hadn't expected it.
"You boys look so handsome, perhaps we go all out to night? It would give you great pleasure for you my lo -" The woman was silenced by Robert. If it were other days, he would have gladly taken up the offer, being every woman's man. But after meeting that woman, all other thoughts about women seemed to be absent and he could think only of that woman. He hadn't forgot about her, infact he always thought everyday for her, hoping that he would find her someday....in here.
"We're sorry but we have come to the wrong place." Explained Robert in a rush but the women were having none of it as they kept dragging them to another place. Robert's eyes wandered everywhere and here it seemed something was off. He kept trying to figure out what it was, and like a light bulb the thought appeared in his head. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.
"Damn Lione and this fucking illusion! How can he be so good at this?" He said to his comrades. The things in here were not real and it would be almost impossible to break through it, as the people here we're mixed. The real people and the illusions, and it seemed these women who were dragging them were part of the illusion.
Being that they were been adamant on having them, they were definitely illusions. They had more important things to do than spend their time with people who were not real and do not exist at all.
"Looks like Lione did a great job in this one. Their too adamant. How did we get ourselves caught up in all of this?" Lucas spoke but before anyone could say anything more, Finn shushed them by placing his index finger on his lips.
"They won't go even if we tell them to." Finn said and they gave an obvious look.
"Yes, we know that and you're well aware none of us would want to fuck an illusion, not that we have the time." Replied Lago and they nodded. The last thing they wanted was to fuck an illusion. The prince and the princess was their top priority right now and thanks to Lione's great job, they're been held back by mere illusions.
"We can get rid of them." Finn said, and they subtly raised their brows.
"How is that? As far as I remember, the only way one can get rid of an illusion is from the person who made the illusion." Lago said and Finn pulled closer to Lago's ear, not wanting the other demons to hear part of the conversation. As doing that might go into their disadvantage.
"Let's oblige to their words and follow them. With what I've noticed, their able to touch us but we aren't able to. I noticed when you pushed your hand towards her chest to get her away from you but your hands didn't pass through, which means to break away the illusion, we need to dig our hands into their chest." Finn explained and Lago was impressed with the recent observations in just a short period.
The rest of the men were unhappy that Finn was not sharing to them what he observed but before Robert could speak, Lago leaned closer to his ear and whispered the same words which Finn had told him. Robert was amazed with this new information but he was quick to regain his composure and whispered it to the next person.
After everyone of them were informed about Finn's observation, they didn't resist and followed the unreal ladies to where they were leading them to. But they weren't naive to know not to let their guard down. Not every one of the women could break their illusion through their chest so they had to find another spot without them noticing.
Before disappearing through the halls, Amadeus gave his men a slight nod and they disappeared.
