For some odd reason, Ellie felt a little nervous while heading to Amir's chambers. 'Why am I feeling this way?'
Soon enough, with slow steps she reached the chamber Amir was kept. They were a few guards standing outside. 'He's lucky they treat him like royalty. So annoying!'
Seeing that it was the princess who came to visit Amir, they paved way for her as they bowed respectfully to greet.
"Greetings your highness!" They said in unison and Ellie made a low 'mm' sound to show she acknowledged their greetings.
She stepped into the room and her eyes moistened a little. A maid was there, checking up on him. When she was done, she sat back on a chair close to Amir.
Ellie silently stood there, watching Amir's peaceful face. Appreciating his unearthly beauty, not thinking much about why. 'I must admit. He's handsome. I think I just failed to realize his godly features on time.'
She sniffed a little and the maid craned her neck backwards. She was sitting in front of Amir with a stool so she couldn't guess that someone was also there. The maid realized it was the princess and she stood immediately to greet. "Apologies your highness! I didn't notice you were there. Forgive me." She said with a Lowered gaze.
"It's okay. I understand." Ellie said and the maid sighed in relief.
Ellie strode towards the bed and with every step she took, she was finding it difficult to erase the nervousness in her heart. 'Maybe it's because I'll finally talk to him after a long time.'
The maid appointed to take care of Amir pulled out a chair for Ellie. She sat on it and a slight smile carved on her face. She glanced at the maid and spoke. "You may leave." She instructed and the maid nodded.
Maid left and only the two were left in the room. Her heartbeat was faster than normal and it was as if the world was spinning and only they were in it. 'Even in your unconscious state, you can annoy me. Why is my heartbeat increasing its pace?'
She reached out her hands to touch his face and she gently caressed it. "Are you sure you're alright? Why aren't you awake yet?" She said in a gentle and soft voice.
"Did you know how much you kept me worried? You kept everyone worried." as she said those words, her gentle demeanour changed and her gaze turned annoyed.
"So for keeping everyone worried, I'm going to give you a very good beating. It's going to hurt so you should wake up soon or I'll be forced to wake you." She said and an evil grin curved up on her face. 'Seems he won't wake up anytime soon and when he does, I'm going to beat him.'
"Wake up Amir! I'm getting impatient." She said but he remained laying on the bed. Ellie sighed seeing he wasn't waking anytime soon. 'I guess I'll just come later.' She thought as she sighed again.
She stood to leave in the hopes of coming back later. She reached the door and had her hands on the doorknob when....

"Didn't you say they'll be back by now. Where are they?!" Lucas said as he held a soldier's neck. Lago was trying to stop him but all his attempt proved futile. It looked like Lucas had become stronger within a short period of time and it surprised Lago.
"Lucas stop it! We don't know the truth and we can't kill him. Let's wait, some soldiers are still stationed at the border so there's no need to kill him if he said he received orders from Bruce." Lago explained and Lucas let go off the trembling soldier who had lost most of his breathe and was having a hard time breathing.
"Calm down!" Lago said and Lucas breathed in and out.
"This is strange. Bruce knows that the princess was kidnapped. Why didn't he come to the palace and if Bruce is aware, where's Robert and Amadeus?"
"You're right. Everything seems strange."
Lucas paced back and forth trying to make heads or tails of what was going on but he couldn't understand any of it. "This is getting really frustrating, and Finn had gone to meet his highness for hours now. Where are they?!"
"You stay here. I'll go check on him." Lago said but Lucas shook his head.
"We're the only ones left to guard the palace. We can't leave here."
"We're not leaving. I'll go there and you stay here to check the situation of things." Lago explained and Lucas hesitantly nodded.
"Take care."
"I will. We still need to find the princess."
...
Lago hastily walked to crown prince Beowulf's quarters. He surveyed the place and it looked like it was in a lot of mess. Bodies could be seen laying on the floor. Some were half dead while the ones with little energy left were crawling their way out. Lago saw this and stepped on their heads on by one, making them fall back on the floor again. He used them as a stepping sheet and he could hear their pain filled groans as he stepped on their heads. "I'm sure that after this you'll die so don't try escaping." He said as he stepped in the last head.
He moved forward to Beowulf's chambers and he could see splattered blood on the walls and floors. For some unknown reason, he felt that this blood were not belonging to the enemy but to his people. 'No, their not so weak. Maybe I'm mistaken.' He thought but still, that uneasy feeling didn't leave him. He still felt that something wasn't right.
He got closer and placed his hands on the knob, he could hear painful groans but he couldn't pinpoint whose it belonged to. 'Let this just be my imagination.'
He flung open the door and he could now see exactly what he had been hearing. His prince looked like he was a monster as he violently flung Beowulf to the other part of the room. He didn't wait a minute for Beowulf to react before he lunged another attack. Beowulf had his nose and mouth broken. He looked like he couldn't even stand anymore but he didn't want to give up. He didn't want to put his pride aside and run away. He kelt on attacking even if it deemed useless. He would always end up being thrashed like a ragdoll.
Lago could see a sword planted in his prince's abdomen and he gulped. 'His highness is hurt! Where's Finn?!'
He turned around and he found Finn brutally injured. He had marks like sword scratches on his chest but if one were to look closely, it looked more like claws. Lago strode towards him, his gaze never leaving Finn. 'What happened? Did Finn suddenly become weak? Impossible!'
He squatted as he looked at Finn. "Are you alright? What happened?" Lago asked, meanwhile Alexander was still thrashing Beowulf away and Lago knew he needed to stop him but the question was 'how?' This is the exact same thing they had wanted to avoid but it seems it can never be avoided.
"H-h-his highness....he's not alright. You n-need to sto_ ahhh....you need to stop him. I...I tried stopping him but I ended up this way." Finn explained with heavy breathing. He also was shocked that his prince couldn't recognize him when he was in that state. It had never happened before so they didn't know how to handle this.
"H-he didn't recognize you?" He asked and Finn nodded.
"Then how do we stop him?" Lago asked, almost sounding scared of asking because he knew that his prince won't stop unless he gets satisfied with his prey's blood and that means killing Beowulf. Now, Beowulf is half-dead and if they don't stop him, he might just finish him off.
"Ahhh!!!" An agonizing scream echoed in the room. It was Beowulfs'. They turned to see the cause and they found Alexander cutting his fingers with a sword. No! This is not their prince. At this moment, their prince looked like a monster who wouldn't calm down unless it found its mate.
"Where. Is. My. Wife?!" He asked in a low tone but it didn't escape their sharp ears. Well, it shocked them to hear that even in this state, he could still acknowledge his wife, which means he's going to calm down when he hears something about his wife.
As if a light bulb appeared in Lago's head, a smile carved on his lips. He knew how to stop his prince but he hoped it would work as it was the last option.
"I know how to stop his highness." Lago declared and Finn looked at him in confusion but Lago meaningfully smiled.
"Just watch." Was what he said as he stood behind his prince who looked like something no one would dare go close to.
